Mystery Blogger Award

The Mystery Blogger Award’ is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

I was nominated for this award by DM at Pointless Overthinking. I thank you most sincerely, sir!
I love that my words are meaningful to the people who read them!

Now that I’ve been nominated, I’ve got to follow the rules laid out by the creator of this award, Okoto Enigma.
Here we go!

The Rules
Put the award logo/image on your blog
List the rules.
Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
You have to nominate 10 – 20 people
Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question
Share a link to your best post(s)

Three things about myself
I believe every single thing a human being needs to know is learned through play.
I’m consumed by wanderlust yet also a straight-up homebody.
I always trust my gut. (because it is never, ever wrong)

DM’s Questions
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging as a way to kind of journal “out loud”. The idea of putting my thoughts out into the world filled me equally with enthusiasm and apprehension, but it was one of the smartest choices I ever made.

What person do you appreciate the most and why?
Currently I’m going to have to say YBW, and here’s the why: He is kind, loves my daughters as his own, has the most ridiculous sense of humor, accepts and encourages me to be me, and he is teaching me how to feel safe in love.

What is your biggest fear?
That I’ll never be ‘good enough’.

Which quote you like the most?
(it’s a three-way tie)
“Do everything in love.”
“For a true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.”
“Have courage and be kind.”

What do you love the most about our world?
That if you bother to look for it, you can always find kindness.

My best posts
(from my point of view)
Paul knew what was up
the power of forgiveness
paying attention to my gratitude
being a weird mom builds character
learning that love is safe
I am the strangest, weirdest, most complicated woman I’ve ever been.

My Nominations
Waking up on the Wrong Side of 50
In A Messy World
Must Be This Tall To Ride
Anxiety The Bitch
Lovely in the Dark
Water for Camels
Mistakes & Adventures
Persevere
(I know this isn’t 10 – 20, but I’m a rebel, not a rule follower.)

My Questions
What is your intention and how do you live it?
Who is your favorite hero in fiction?
What’s your ultimate dream trip, and have you taken it?
What gets you out of bed every morning?
What’s your personal theme song?
