laundry, sushi, fresh produce, and Cousins on Friday

It’s Friday.
Laundry and grocery store day…only I’m having some difficulty getting motivated to leave the house. Laundry is well sorted because laundry is my “jam”.
YBW requested sushi because my plan is to go over Wegmans to grocery shop. It’s cloudy and I’m feeling lazy. I just want to snuggle up with a good book. But I think I want fresh produce even more…so off to Wegmans I’ll go.

Perhaps a bit later though.
Right now I’m going to listen to a little Vampire Weekend.
You can too!
This is ‘Cousins’ from their sophomore album, ‘Contra’.
Please listen responsibly.

  1. Nice post, I love a good book. I guess ‘jam’ means you like doing laundry? I don’t like the band, too young and fresh for me. No worries.

    • No, laundry is my ‘jam’ means it’s ‘my thing’.
Young and fresh is occasionally a good thing to add to the mix. Can’t always play Billy Ocean, my friend. 😉

  2. I like Vampire Weekend songs on the radio and was glad you chose one I rarely hear! I like cozying up to a book on grey days. Or cold or rainy days. Blogging takes up a lot of my reading time and someday hope new man in my life will be my excuse to blog less. . .
I like getting laundry done, just smells and feels so nice! 🙂

    • Laundry. My all time, end all be all favorite household chore. It completely feeds my OCD.
Vampire Weekend is such fun! I’m glad you enjoy them too!
