Sunday morning at the home site 5.16.21

I’ve been waiting for the day when we walked up to the house and found the doors locked.
Sunday this week was that day.
But I didn’t have a sad face because I was also at the house Friday this week meeting with the building manager.
We discussed the cabinets again. He remarked that he’d informed the cabinet guy, but also quickly owned up to dropping the ball when it came to following up. He was leaving us in our house to go meet with the cabinet guy so he would handle it straight away.
Stay tuned…
Hey, at least I didn’t have to use my teacher voice on them.

He did tell us he loves that we come over to the house. I asked him when the doors would start being locked. He replied they should always be locked, but then he held his hand out for my notebook and wrote four numbers before handing it back to me.
So when we got to the house Sunday morning and the interior garage door was locked, we simply punched in the code and walked through the front door.
(Thaaaaaanks, Tommyyyyyyy!)

I was in full on SQUEE mode when I came up the stairs!

We have light fixtures!
I absolutely adore the choice we made in the kitchen!
The kitchen and my shower are currently my favorite spaces in the house…

These pendants are (will be?) on either side of our bed. They’re just don’t have their pretty on yet.

Exterior lights in the front, none on the back yet.
Stay tuned on the cabinet saga.
And those windows are still “coming”…

It becomes more real each week y’all!
