This song has been in my ear for months and I love it a little bit more each time I hear it.

Blu DeTiger is a young, funky, NYC based, bass player and I freaking love her song Vintage.
My favorite line is in the chorus:
I need a vintage boy for my outfit
Always holds the door but I found him in a mosh pit
Check it out and let me know what you think.

I asked YBW to curate the tune for this particular Tuesday because today is his birthday!
Yep, my sci-fi geek husband was born on ‘Star Wars Day’. (you know, ‘May the fourth be with you’)
How cute is that?
Happy Birthday, Sweetheart, I love you all the way to Pluto and back!
Here’s what he wanted y’all to know about his pick:
I liked this song from the first time I heard it, and it has become my favorite song of 2020. A good beat and dreamy lyrics.
The video was obviously shot at the beginning of pandemic lock down. Low def and green screen effects. While watching this video with my granddaughter Baby K waved to Phoebe when she peeked out behind a tree and smiled. That sweet innocent reaction cinched it for me.
Check out Kyoto by Phoebe Bridgers and let me know what you think.
Please listen responisbly.
What do you get when you put producer Benny Blanco, DJ Marshmello, and singer Vance Joy together?
You get the song You.
And I gotta tell y’all, I absolutely love this tune!
Give it a whirl and let me know what you think.

I dig this almost monday song.
The chorus rings true in me.
‘Cause we’re all just broken people, and we don’t know why
But we’re keeping it together ’cause we gotta try
We are all broken in one way or another, and I to me, that’s what makes us beautiful.
Check out broken people from their record don’t say you’re ordinary and let me know what you think.

I freaking LOVE this Neighborhood song!
This is Stargazing from the record, Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones
I’m curious what y’all think about it, so have a listen and let me know.

My love of Vampire Weekend is loud and proud. Rostam Batmanglij is a founding member and produced their first three albums before he went on to other things.
Some of these other things include Changephobia a new record with a June 4 release date.
Check out this track and let me know what you think.
Here’s 4Runner by Rostam.

Every single time I hear this song I feel so much dang joy!

I’ve been listening to Orange Light for a few months now and can’t shake my like for it.
It has a bit of Yardbirds vibe about it with that twangy 1960s sounding guitar, but also a quite modern sensibility.
Check out this 2014 track from Cool Ghouls album A Swirling Fire Burning Through The Rye.
Let me know what y’all think.

I came across this song quite by accident.
The more I hear it, the more I find myself enjoying it.
